a friendly reminder...

Friday afternoon I was reminded why I do not plan on pursuing a teaching career... it's exhausting. I subbed in a notoriously rowdy and boisterous class in the afternoon, and despite them being well behaved I was absolutely pooped by the end of the day. How some teachers manage I'll never know. I think I like photography (my style of photography that is) because it seems to work well with my energy levels. Shooting the photos require short bursts of energy and editing is almost like meditation at times, because I can sit and quietly process photos with little bother from the outside world.

but I need to sleep. I was ready to go to bed at nine but I wanted to finish some more edits to post before bed.
